PRIMAL aims to be usable with keyboards, screen readers and responsive text layouts. This is a statement of intent, not a certification.

We use semantic headings, labelled controls, visible focus states, keyboard-operable navigation and text alternatives where content requires them. Interactive maps have accompanying event information where available.
Known limitations
Complex maps and rich-text editors may be harder to use with assistive technology. User-provided documents and media may not always include accessible alternatives. We continue to improve these areas.
